The event was a very high level event. Former Governor of New York State Mario Cuomo made a presentation of the Dick Schaap Lifetime Achievement Award to Dick Ebersol, Chairman of NYC Sports & NBC Olympics, after explaining to the audience what kind of stringent requirements need to be fulfilled in order for someone to be eligible to receive this award. In his acceptance, Mr. Ebersol thanked everyone for thsir support, and spoke briefly about different highlights throughout this career, and also spoke briefly about the XFL, jokingly taking the blame for it . Joe Namath also spoke to the audience, recapping and reminiscing on his football days and the 1969 Superbowl. Shelby Modell, the wife of the late Michael Modell, gave the audience a warm welcome to the event and then talked about how she never expected the Kerr Family and their humanitarian works could be so intricately woven into her own life.

Overall, it was a great event. We want to thank Mr. Mitchell Modell, the CEO of Modells, for giving us the opportunity to cover this event. Without his assistance, it would have never been possible to Not only is he a very successful business man, in the United States, but a great humanitarian which we can all learn from, from the work he’s done for the Crohn’s Foundation, helping thousands of people throughout the U.S. via CCFA.
