The Selective Corporate Internship Program (SCIP) was devised by Monica Mancebo, CEO of Selective Staffing, and Miguel Mancebo, President of Selective Staffing. It was created as a program to mentor talented New York and New Jersey high school students. Its purpose is to integrate the public school education system with the corporate sector, and thus give underpriviliged students the opportunity to obtain the business skills needed to be successful entrepreneurs and leaders. The goal of the program is to equip young people with the necessary tools, encourage them, and provide them with the necessary experience that gives them a sense of direction, not only within business sector, but anywhere. The organization has been doing exactly this since it was founded.
