GOP Convention Kickoff Gala and Media Welcome PartyAug 28, 2004Time Warner Building, NY, NY
Show Host Larry King, Charles Gargano (advisor to Mayor Michael Bloomberg), even world famous boxing promoter Don King, and of course, the President of Time Warner, Mr. Richard Parsons, who put this entire event, with all of its festivities, together. There were festivities galore, food of every kind—Japanese, Italian, everything, even Junior’s cheesecake. This was the first of several events the City produced as NYC Welcomed the delegates, elected officials, and visitors attending the GOP convention. The ceremony even included entertainment by the New York Metro Mass Choir, and Trios featuring members of the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. The gala featured cuisine from local New York restaurants, including Patsy’s Italian Restaurant, Le Cirque and Sushi Samba. Some of the highlights included a Kick-Off Press Conference, Welcoming Speeches and Electronic Coverage. This was a packed-out event, with thousands of people
in attendance. The electricity was in the air. We would thank the
Howard Rubenstein Public Relations Company for inviting us to attend
this dynamic event.
